Marquis DeVaughan Jamerson

Law Clerk

Marquis Jamerson is a Law Clerk at Maven Law with over three years’ experience in domestic relations work and six years’ experience in customer service work. Mr. Jamerson is knowledgeable and well suited for assisting attorneys with legal research, drafting, case preparation, and client relations. 

Mr. Jamerson is currently attending courses at the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, in pursuance of a Juris Doctorate degree. Mr. Jamerson intends to continue to serve the public and families as he diversifies his legal portfolio. 

Prior to joining Maven Law Firm, Mr. Jamerson worked as a Judicial Case Manager under the Honorable Arlene Minus Coppadge, Judge of the Family Court, during which he gained crucial experience in Family Court processing, legal writing, case management, and serving familial units. In September of 2024, Mr. Jamerson sought to further his career in private practice as a paralegal of the WhitbeckBeglis Law Firm, where he was able to compound and expand upon his family court experience. 

Mr. Jamerson has extensive knowledge and experience in working on cases related to custody, guardianship, divorce, ancillaries, child support, protection from abuse, termination of parental rights, and adoption proceedings. As a law clerk, Mr. Jamerson subscribes to the belief that excellence is built on consistent effort at every level, and intends to put forth the level of hard work to build a foundation that will allow for excellence in your case.
